Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at Breed Middle School! Teachers and staff members are excited to work together with students and families to make this a successful and enriching school year. Together we strive to create meaningful and lasting relationships and provide the best possible education to all our students. We strongly promote our three core values of Acceptance, Achievement, and Shared Responsibility in everything we do. As a community, we will work together to embody these values and create a welcoming inclusive culture and climate that fosters a sense of belonging for all.

I am excited to join the Breed Bobcat family this year as the Interim Principal. My top priorities are 1-A) the safety and security of all students and staff and 1-B) delivering high-quality educational experiences in a positive culture of both joy and academic challenge. In meeting many of the wonderfully dedicated and enthusiastic Breed educators and staff over the summer, I am extremely confident in our school’s ability to continue to deliver on the above values and priorities.

Classes for all students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will begin on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025. Students should report to school at 7:15 if they would like breakfast. At 7:30 students will be directed to their grade-specific areas and will be given their homeroom assignments. All students will be dismissed at 2:15 by their appropriate grade. As in previous years, Grade 8 will exit through the front door (A4), Grade 7 will exit through the door at the end of the shop program hall (A6), and Grade 6 will exit through the doors at the Gym end of the building (B1 and B2). Building on last year’s success, Breed students and staff will again be participating in work and activities on the first three days of school that will build character, establish relationships, and allow every student the opportunity to foster a sense of belonging. Students will engage in team-building activities and reflective practices that will help to guide their learning and reinforce the values of a Breed Bobcat. We welcome everyone and cannot wait to begin this new year with you all!
