The Callahan School Community believes that all children are intellectuals that are capable of learning at a high level.
Our faculty and staff place high expectations on our learners, as well as on ourselves. Educators strive to provide rigorous,
high-quality, grade-level differentiated instruction which allows all learners access to the content. As a result, our classrooms
are safe, inclusive, challenging, and collaborative learning environments where students are inspired to become independent thinkers.
This is achieved through faculty and staff dedication to continuous learning and growth, while also ensuring that we are working
with families to best understand the needs of each and every learner.
We are getting very excited about welcoming our learners back for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year! Students in grades 1 through 5
will begin on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:45. It will be a day full of fun learning activities with dismissal taking place at 1:45.
Our younger students, in Pre-K and Kindergarten, will have their first day of school on Monday, September 8th.
We are planning to invite Pre-K and K families to come in on Friday, September 5th for a classroom meet-and-greet.
Also, the community is invited to join us for a Slush Social on Tuesday, September 2nd from 2:30 to 3:30.
Please stay tuned and be on the lookout for calls, texts, and emails with further information on everything happening ahead of the new school year!
Respectfully,
Mr. Kennison
